My Pilot: Esteban & Shayna!

[STILL IN DEVELOPMENT - PILOT IN PRODUCTION]Esteban & Shayna is a 2D animated sitcom that follows two chaotic college roommates: Shayna, a music student who's intense, structured, and has her life all mapped out, and Esteban, a well-meaning mess with the attention span of a potato chip, still figuring out what he wants to study.Taking inspiration from "Regular Show" and "Smosh", the show dives into the absurd everyday struggles of becoming a “real adult”… emphasis on trying.While the early episodes lean heavily into a more episodic "slice of life" style, the show gradually evolves with a deeper narrative thread, think "Steven Universe" or "Gravity Falls". Behind the jokes, there's a mysterious element slowly unfolding, connecting our characters to something much bigger.Designed for audiences aged 14 to 25, Esteban & Shayna is built for both weekly television and binge-friendly streaming, with potential for music, merch, and an online fan community. It’s a relatable comedy for the weird in-between years from turning into an adult, and the odd little things that occur along the way.
